1. Click the AirPort in the menu bar at the top of your screen. Turn AirPort on if it is not already. 2. Select Open Network Preferences. 3. From the left-side menu, select Airport 4. Click on the button labeled Advanced. 5. From the buttons on the top, choose 802.1X. 6. In the Domain drop down list, change domain from Login Window to User.
7. Then in the Configurations menu, click the plus sign. You can then give the configuration a name such as WUFI-S or School Wireless. On the right enter this information:
8. Select TTLS and click Configure. Enter the following information: 9. Click OK to close the TTLS window. 10. Click OK to save settings and close the window. 11. In the Network window, click Apply. 12. You may need to turn Airport off and then back on to connect. 13. When prompted with the Verify Certificate window popup, click View Certificate.
14. Select Always Trust.
15. At this point you may need to reboot for a successful connection. Your computer will automatically connect with the Wireless Network and log you in when you are within range. Note: Leopard is a very new operating system, so the connectivity is a bit buggy at first. You may need to reboot, and turn Airport on and off for a good connection. Look for the Authenticated via TTLS in Network Preferences... to indicate a verified connection. |
