Technology Orientation Program for Students
August 18, 2017 – Gregg Technology Classroom (located inside STS, at the storefronts of Gregg House)
- 10 am -11:30 am seminar – presentation and installs
- 2 pm – 3 pm hands-on tech clinic – installs only
The Technology Orientation Program for Students (TOPS) will help incoming students become familiar with technology at WUSTL. In this seminar students will learn about the WUSTL network, printing, Blackboard, WebSTAC, WUGO, WUSTL Box and O365, ONE, device security, computing policies, Alertus and the WUSTL Mobile app.The TOPS seminar will include hands-on demonstrations, so we encourage attendees to bring along the personal devices they intend on using throughout the year (laptops, smart phones etc). Please note that seating is limited to 40 participants.
If students cannot attend the morning seminar, a hands-on TOPS clinic is offered inn the afternoon. During this time STS techs will be available to assist with the installation of WUSTL print, email on mobile devices and Office 365.
