Title: Shared Services Data Analyst
Department: WashU IT Capital Projects
Reports To: WashU IT Project Manager
Salary: $12/hour
Schedule: minimum 8 – 12 hours/week; M-F business hours
Location: Medical School Campus – 4480 Clayton Ave
Position Summary: This student analyst position will support the Shared Services Discovery process in gathering and preparing data from a business unit. Responsibilities may include cross referencing and reconciling data elements into an Excel format, using queries to find data exceptions, as well as, creating and updating documentation.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and understanding of desktop and mobile technologies
- Experience with MS Office Suite; with Excel, Acces, and Word skills
- Experience with SQL
- Excellent written communications skills
Qualifications:
- Meet basic STaRS hiring criteria – maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Ability to work well independently and as a member of team
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical concepts
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A strong desire to learn
