Department/Location: WashU IT End User Services, Danforth Deskside (Danforth campus locations: north, west)
Hours/Salary: $10.50-$11/hour – commensurable with experience ; 6 – 20 hours/week
Reports To: EUS Manager Technical Services
Job Description: The Student Tech Support Specialist will perform workstation support activities in coordination with Tech Support Specialists and Senior Tech Support Specialist.
Job Duties:

- Assist with computer moves. Breaking down and setting up.
- Computer deployments
- Workstation support, including resolving incidents or facilitating escalation
- Computer hardware support
- Virus removal, OS troubleshooting
- Written and verbal communications regarding status
Qualifications:
- Basic computer experience (Windows and Mac preferred)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A strong desire to learn
