Hours/Salary: 5-10 hours per week / $11/hour
Job Description: The Student Web Content Tech Assistant will work on developing engagement pages for the Africa Initiative website.  The student will complement existing knowledge with experience with the opportunity to learn about WashU-specific web standards and best practices for web developers.

Accountabilities:

  • Adhere to agreed-upon work schedule
  • Complete projects in a timely manner
  • Attend required meetings and/or training

Qualifications:

  • experience using WordPress and the WashU template
  • familiarity with https://sites.wustl.edu/
  • strong language skills
  • Knowledge of and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of applications
  • Ability to work well independently and as a member of team
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical concepts
  • Ability to switch focus according to changing requirements
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A strong desire to learn
