Location: AB Hall
Hours/Salary: 10hours per week / $9-10 an hour
Job Description: The Student Web Developer will work in the Web Services department of the Law School to assist content editors, developers and project managers with the maintenance and technical development of the school’s multiple websites and social media platforms. The student will complement existing knowledge with experience with the opportunity to learn about emerging technologies, technical documentation, web standards and best practices for web developers.
Accountabilities:
- Adhere to agreed-upon work schedule
- Complete projects in a timely manner
- Attend required meetings and/or training
Qualifications:
- experience using WordPress
- strong language skills
- Knowledge of and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of applications
- Basic HTML/XHTML/CSS knowledge
- Ability to work well independently and as a member of team
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical concepts
- Ability to switch focus according to changing requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A strong desire to learn
