STEER-IT is an annual four-day Pre-Orientation Program hosted by Student Technology Services. Join us, current upperclassmen students, and other pre-orientation participants for four days packed with activities both on campus and in St. Louis!
Below is just a small sampling of events STEER-IT participants enjoyed during 2014 STEER-IT:
- Team building exercises, ice breakers, trivia, and scavenger hunts
- Hands-on experience with building a website, rebuilding and tearing down a desktop, A/V equipment, and hands-on demonstrations
- Behind-the-scenes tours of St. Louis Science Center’s IMAX and The Loop’s Tivoli Theatre
- Met with IT Professionals both at WashU and at the STL Internet Consortium
- Learned about life on campus from upperclassmen throughout the Pre-Orientation Program and during an introductory Q&A Dinner
