Title: Campus Card Services Student Assistant
Department: Campus Card Services
Reports To: Campus Card Services Manager
Term: Year-round availability including Summer
Schedule:
Spring/Fall semester: 10hrs/week (M-F 8:30am-5pm)
Summer: 20hrs/week (M-F 8am-4:30pm for summer)
Salary: $11/hr
Required Skills:
- Strong customer service skills, including written and verbal communication
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new circumstances
- Good organizational skills: ability to prioritize work load to appropriately respond to customer needs and demands
- Excellent language and people skills
- Computer savvy and familiar with campus technology platforms and resources
- Ability to keep work-related information strictly confidential
- Full-time student with at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA, in good academic and judicial standing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sophomore or Junior with campus experience and knowledge of policies
Responsibilities:
- Welcome & direct visitors
- Answer phones
- Processing fingerprints
- Filing (Alphabetizing)
- Maintain the informational literature and bulletin boards accessible for all visitors
- Assist in updating Campus Card Services website
- Assist with Bear Bucks marketing on social media and around campus
- Assist in printing of ID Cards
- Other duties as assigned
