Title: Summer Data Analyst Intern
Department: WashU IT – Capital Projects
Reports To: WUIT Incident Coordinator
Salary: $11/hour
Schedule: minimum 8am – 12pm; M-F business hours (start date: May 10, 2017)
Location: Medical School Campus – Taylor Avenue Building
Position Summary: This student analyst position will support the SITS program and perform statistical analysis to include routine and trend review of time sensitive data. Responsibilities may include cross referencing and reconciling data elements into an Excel format, using queries to find data exceptions, as well as, creating and updating documentation.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and understanding of desktop and mobile technologies
- Experience with MS Office Suite; with strong Excel, Acces, and Word skills
- Excellent written communications skills
Qualifications:
- Meet basic STaRS hiring criteria – maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Ability to work well independently and as a member of team
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical concepts
- Ability to multitask
